Birth your Drum

Retreat for Women

Expressions of Interest

let me know if you'd like to make a drum

Birthing your own Drum is a deep process of exploration and healing.

Over 3 days, this workshop brings women together in circle to create a sacred ritual space and together we will explore the magick and mystery that is drum making.  We explore the herstory of the drum and its significance in the Journey of women throughout time.

We will be crafting our drums from Kangaroo Skin, and journey to meet the spirit of the kangaroo and see what messages they bring and what will be your unique medicine that reverberates to the world once you play your drum.

We will share our stories and insights in circle and explore Birth: our birth, the birth of our children, how we birth things into this world. This is a process that takes us to the core of our birth imprint, which we witness as we embark on the act of re-weaving our drums into being.

Craft a Drum

Nourish Yourself

Be nourished by beautiful land, delicious food and a sacred circle of women.

I am ready!

The retreat begins on a Friday until Sunday.

We arrive Friday afternoon  to settle in and connect in an opening circle and ritual and learning the herstory of the drum before prepping the drum hides for a full day of creation the next day.

Saturday begins with gentle movement and morning ritual before moving into breakfast and diving into deep processes that help you unravel the story of your birth imprint and how you enact your creative process. We follow that with a full day of birthing your drum on the earth keeping us connected to the land while we journey deep with our own stories and with the spirit of the animal.

After dinner we have a full evening ritual with drumming and singing under the moon.

Sunday Morning begins with gentle movement, a delicious breakfast and a debrief circle and open space to keep crafting a drum beater before finishing in the early afternoon.

I'd love to come along
